A Life Behind the Camera
Raised in the world of 35mm film, darkrooms, and traditional photography, I learned the craft long before the digital age. Through my father's work in the industry, photography was woven into the fabric of my childhood. Years assisting professional photographers in Sydney and London later transformed that early exposure into a profession.
Although my career took me in different directions, I eventually found my way back to the camera through my own horses. What began as a personal journey soon became the heart of my work.
Animals have always been family to me — horses, cats, dogs, birds — I understand the language they speak.
Since 2010, I have dedicated my photography to the relationship women share with their horses.
There is a rare honesty in the presence of a horse. They see us as we truly are. That truth lies at the heart of my work.
My role is to create the space where those moments can unfold — the shared language, the quiet understanding, the feeling of being completely seen.
I believe the most meaningful images are the ones that allow you to see yourself as your horse does.
